When you make a long vacation to Yogyakarta, remember this sentence, “ Yogyakarta has some cheap stars accommodation and hotels, but if you are walking surrounding this city, you will feel the air in this city is very hot, whether in day or night.” So, it’s feel not perfect, you will get less fun your vacation if it still happens for long time. The little information about Malioboro Street, Yogyakarta. Jalan Malioboro (Malioboro Street) is a major shopping street in Yogyakarta, Indonesia; the name is also used more generally for the neighborhood around the street. It runs north from the Yogyakarta kraton (palace) towards the roads that lead to either Surakarta to the east, or Magelang to the north, as well as Mount Merapi. The street is the centre of Yogyakarta’s largest tourist district; many hotels and restaurants are located nearby. There are the famous shopping center exact in the middle of malioboro street, The malioboro Mal. Has 4 floors and very complete tenant in it. To have lunch, you can enter to McDonald Restaurant, Kopi luwak for have coffee, and read the complete books at Gramedia Book Store at the lower ground floor. And we now talking about outside the mal.

The Story about Yogyakarta city is: Yogyakarta (also Jogja, Yogya, Jogjakarta) is a city in the Yogyakarta Special Region, Indonesia. It is renowned as a center of classical Javanese fine art and culture such as batik, ballet, drama, music, poetry, and puppet shows. It is also famous as a center for Indonesian higher education. Yogyakarta was the Indonesian capital during the Indonesian National Revolution from 1945 to 1949. It is as the capital city of Special Region of Yogyakarta province. Total large of area is 32.8 km² (12.7 sq mi) and has 511,744 of population (2004).

Yogyakarta has many modern lifestyle shopping centres likes: ambarrukmo plaza, malioboro mall, galeria mall, saphir square, and jogjatronik mall. While the city sprawls in all directions from the kraton, the core of the modern city is to the north, centering around the site of a few buildings with distinctive Dutch colonial-era architecture and the contemporary commercial district. Jalan Malioboro, with rows of sidewalk vendors and nearby market and malls, is the primary shopping street for tourists in the city, while Jalan Solo, further north, is a shopping district more frequented by locals. At the southern end of Malioboro, on the east side is the large local market of Beringharjo, not far from Fort Vredeburg a restored Dutch fort.
